If you loved the legendary game Lemmings (or the FOSS version Pingus), then you would be happy to learn that a new game named Caveman is being ported to GNU/Linux.

Caveman is a game in which the goal is to guide a certain number of Cavemen to the exit on the level.
Cavemen enter the level through an open hatch and can be assigned specific skills to help guide the remaining Cavemen to the designated exit.

The GNU/Linux release date is unknown at this point, but I hope it wouldn’t take much time to port.

we plan to build a Linux version; along the same lines of what we did with Cronk on Linux once we get to a final 1.0 version – mainly to keep the update strategy and distribution simple. we already can build the version; it is more an administration question than anything else! 🙂 the desktop version will include windows, macosx and linux! 🙂
