Irukandji GNU/Linux port was recently released by Charlie Games.
Irukandji is a score underwater shooter with flashy graphics, many enemies, bosses, weapons, ships, challenges and much more !

Charlie Games have an unique “donation – pay as you want” program for some of their games…
Irukandji costs 1USD or more – pay as you see fit !
I think it’s an interesting idea and it would be interesting to see if it pays off.

Any idea how to enable sound on Ubuntu 9.10? I bet it’s pulse audio related 🙁 If the sound was working I would probably invest the spare change I still have in my Paypal account 😉

  2. Maxim Bardin says:

    I think you are correct.
Pulse Audio is the first thing I remove after any Ubuntu installation, it’s so buggy that I wonder why they even put it in Ubuntu by default.
Other then that, if you are using a 64-bit Ubuntu, I would kill npviewer.bin process before starting the game as it also could case problems.
After doing that, you should be fine – the music is very cool.

  3. Carl says:

Didn’t have any problems with 64-bit Kubuntu, it works and looks good, but it’s not my cup of tea.

  4. Hamish Wilson says:

I have not had any problems with Pulse Audio on my Fedora systems, though I have heard that it currently runs worse on Ubuntu. Hopefully a fix is coming, yes?

  5. Dave says:

It’s a great game. I paid $5 from a linux site. But I got it for all blatforms.

If anyone’s interested, I got it here:
